Elo is fine, but it would be cool to have naming like “lieutenant” and “colonel” etc added back. It makes the rating system much more relatable/interesting.

Yep, a LOT of people are saying this, especially in the aoe3 community chats.

We definitely need it, it’s a simple thing to add into the game but it’s the most important right now, even before all the bugs to fix.
At least for the online community.

Exactly my feelings. That devs just were never fans of the game in the first place, hence so many wrong decisions.

Yeah, honestly we had to put up with v-sync in aoe3, it didn’t kill the game.
IMO no rank for custom games… might.
I don’t know about that. There are lots of little subtle changes that make fringe strategies viable.
I feel as if they made changes based on the thoughts of the 1v1 crowd which rarely even reach age 3…
The biggest evidence in your favor is that the oprich square remains.
Instant French cav were removed at least.
Yes, we need to have the old PR system attatched to the ELO-rating. For example:
1400-1600 elo = sergeant
1601-1800 master srg.
etc…
