Torps + Silversmith

Hi all, I am wondering about whether or not Silversmith makes mines last longer for torp collection.

“Villagers gather from mines 20% faster; mines last 20% longer”

But looking at the description of the card, it appears that it might only apply to villager gathering that it would last longer. Thank you for any insight!

Silversmith buffs “AbstractVillager” and “LogicalTypeLandEconomy” unit types but Trorps are neither of those. So it shouldn’t buff Toros.

Yeah that’s the same deal. That card would actually be pretty solid for an Ethiopian ally.
