I’m an avid Delhi main, dare i say it expert (this doesnt mean I’m good, just that I’m convinced i know the in’s and out’s of this faction).
I’ve for a year? Tried to force Dome of Faith builds in hopes to find niche situations that could not be reproduce by Tower of Victory…to no avail.
All types of aggressive playstyles favor TOV over DOF which the designers intended, but the sad part is MOST VIABLE and efficient fast tech or boomy playstyle do NOT overtly favor DOF cheaper scholar production. And in the long run when single cheap scholar production becomes moot, TOV is still cooking…

I think the more appropriate thing is to give DOF new life in a way that clearly gives the landmark a VIABLE playstyle edge.
I’d nerf TOV down to 15% and boost DOF in some other way as well.
Why you nerfing us??? And you lrt English keep 20%+ on their attack speed buffs?
English attack bonus is only near defensive structures and is also one of their civ bonuses, delhi have other bonuses like free techs so it isn’t really a relevant comparison in this context.
Delhi units are already strong due to getting all the techs free, having +20% attack on all units as well is too good and completely overshadows the alternative landmark which isn’t bad but perhaps needs a small buff as well.
The other landmark is worth 100w and less than a sacred site worth of Gold IF you were to constantly produce scholars from it, which isnt a thing?
Also free techs that take 3-12 times longer to research isn’t really all that free. And TOV only works on infantry.
Lastly English has many many more buffs so the comparison is valid.
The “Tower of Victory” is like almost 2 blacksmith upgrades. It looks like a solid landmark to me but neither S-Tier or anything like that. The problem is that that synergy with Ghazis makes the civ very solid in Feudal.
On paper, DoF is not so bad if you produced scholars non-stop, but you have to produce them non-stop and the problem is that there comes a point in Feudal Age that you have to stop production and Delhi needs improvements to the House of Learning and some elephant for that Landmark to synergize with FC.
The comparison is invalid because you are comparing another civs bonus in a topic discussing 2 delhi landmarks. You can look at anything on paper and call it op because it appears better than something else another civ has. On paper HRE should be OP af because no civ comes close to 40% buffed vills as soon as the game starts.
Anyway I said the DOF needs buffing.
I’m surprised no DOF buffs were mentioned for after wololo??? I think i read a house of learning buff, so I’m grateful for something though!! But still…
