This forum has an issue with a certain very toxic person that keep making new account to complaint about the same things.
Now every new account is assumed to be him if they kinda write in a similar way.
I personally don’t think you are that guy though.
But you have kind of strange views.
You can’t beat AoM on Easy difficulty but you want to play AoE2 ranked?
Playing ranked is for people that can beat the hardest AI and need bigger challenges.

It’s hard to fail beating a mission half way though the AoM campaign while at the same time being good enough to beat the hardest AoE2 AI.

We had the same person with persistent and aggressive argument tactics making extremely similar posts about largely the same problems over and over again. Over and over again, they were banned and came back on a new account with a different name.
If your argumentative style fits the observed behavior, it’s natural they’d draw conclusions as they have at least half a dozen times by now. If this is a serious problem you’re encountering - you probably aren’t engaging in a way other members of the forum find palatable. Even if they’re totally in the wrong and it’s not something they should be doing, if you critically evaluate how you are approaching subjects there’s a good chance you can completely crush that annoying habit of others, and improve your reception in one go, which can only be positive.
… and my guess is, it’s probably the CAPITALIZATION of the words you decide are IMPORTANT in any given line of text. I promise, we’re reading it all, capitalization or not, and doing so tends to tell other people you doubt their INTELLIGENCE and READING COMPREHENSION and need to HELP THEM with it in order to understand your points. Even if that wasn’t your aim - that’s how some read it, and those who read it that way probably feel insulted, which will hurt your reception.

It’s that, and generally the overdramatic and negative nature of the posts. Titling your thread “This game is UNPLAYABLE” when you could have titled it “Looking for People to Play Co-Op With” is not exactly the greatest way to introduce yourself on the forum.
Also this. Also I couldn’t help but notice that he liked all of actual-Gargarensis’ posts in the other thread despite some of them being less relevant and helpful than some other responses. I suppose that’s just coincidence, as mods confirmed he’s not Gargarensis, but in some ways he seems like a kindred spirit.

I find easier to follow build orders in Starcraft than in AoE2, for example. But now that I think of it, that doesn’t mean that much

Wrong. Ranked is suitable for all levels. You don’t have to be good to play ranked, you just won’t get high ranking. But everyone can find similar skilled players to play with.

i saw the title of thread and thought it would be about online matches… it seems you have a beef with how people treated yyou here… but anyway yes the playerbase is toxic, they just won’t let you play past castle age. so many rushes.
It is. Gargarensis currently relies on a VPN but usually also uses his actual IP. That’s how we catch him. In OPs case, both registration and last IP are from the same place.

He’s the one who has to pay for a VPN just to troll, instead of buying books. Argentina has cheaper books, BTW.

What?! Ranked doesnt require any skill level to enter. Even the biggest noob should be able to play ranked. Ranked is the easiest way to play against equally skilled players after your placement games (and if you are really bad it might take a bit longer).

No. This is just gatekeeping. Ranked is for everybody. There are people on the ladder who are ranked lower than 500 ELO.
