Trojan virus detected in Age of Mythology: Retold game files!

Today, my Kaspersky antivirus flagged a file within Age of Mythology: Retold as a Trojan virus (VHO:Trojan.Win32.Convagent.gen). The infected file was named “PlayFabCore.Win32.143.dll” and was located at C:/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Age of Mythology Retold/

Upon detection, my antivirus initiated an advanced disinfection process. This process quarantined the file, rendering it inaccessible and effectively destroying the game. I am now unable to launch the game.

P.S.: I don’t use mods.

Could be a false positive.

Yeah I had a false positive with Skyrim a few months ago and it quarantined the main exe file, you can go into your quarantine area and whitelist the file if/when you’re confident its not harmful (which it probably isn’t if its a game file) and then you’ll be fine.
