Turks: Cavalry Archers or Janissaries?

When you are playing as Turks, generally will you make Cavalry Archers or Janissaries as your main ranged unit?

That’s such an “It depends” question. The two units have totally different roles, windows, ideal compositions, and purposes. It’s not a black white option. Janissaries literally have strategies around them, but CA + the free Hussar upgrades are pretty nice.

CA lategame, Jans earlygame.

Though if you end up with huss jan in imp don’t fret, it’s still good.

Cavalry Archers.

Except on closed maps where Janissaries in Castle Age are very strong. If the game goes late you have to switch to CA though.
