I don’t know how much gold per kill would be reasonable, and I don’t know whether any other aspect of Turks would need to be nerfed.
I could imagine for example replacing the 20% gold mining bonus with a 5gold/kill bonus.
It would be a way to give Turks a way to win trash wars without giving them trash units, allowing them to keep their identity.
It would also boost Turk fast-imp, by allowing soldiers to generate resources.
It would force the opponent to play differently.
It might also, eg in teamgames, lead to degenerate gameplay.

- Turk gold for kills sounds un-fun
- gold for kills sounds impossible to balance
i didnt play tatars often so i dont know how efficient killing-gold is. maybe imperial age building like feitoria only generating gold is more fun?
in addition only turks have identity instead of trash units in 35 civs, which look nonsense for me
I suggested this but rather different way than yours. It was giving scout line(or just hussars) raiding ability for eco buildings of opponent.
But i’m not sure this will solve Turks problem . Because imo their main issue is lack of starting eco bonus. Since they suck at the end of game their start should be stronger i think. Giving them minor eco bonus might be solution imho.
To be honest I like this idea better.
Turks are such a powerful and aggressive civ when they have golds since they already have a good eco bonus to make the best miner in the game. So just need a lit bit improvement for the anti-archer units, otherwise it is really easy to be overcorrected and become overpower.
Adding Onager or Elite skirmisher is the potential solution people often talking about.
Maybe Sipahi can also give extra HP to the little skirmisher.

Most civs in general have lackluster trash in some regard. You don’t want to be making and relying on pikemen as saracens, or skirmishers as celts. If you’re in that situation, you’re already losing.
This isn’t a big deal at lower levels but even like 1100-1200+ is where gold trash ratio starts mattering.
Turks do struggle vs arbalest but there are ways to give them cost effecient answers instead of copping out and giving them elite skirm - elite skirm + janissary would be unkillable since even without camels on the field enough upgraded janissaries give even cavalry problems

i don’t think these type of bonuses belong in aoe2. maybe something for aoe4 where they are doing things a little differently.
Honestly if I were to approach buffing Turks on this issue I’d give them free Guilds. It’s not as good as Saracen market, but it saves research time and resources and is pretty necessary for Turks post imp once you start running out of your base gold
