Issue:
There is a bug/exploit which allows Umibozu (Japan mythic unit) to cast their special ability outside of water, making them insanely broken as without water limitations that ability is nuts. The bug involves making several Umibozu, using 1 of their special abilities in a legit way, and shift-clicking other abilities to any location on the map (that you have vision of).
Repro Steps:
Have several Umibozu out on the map, 1 of them in water, other ones wherever.
Select them all.
holding Shift, manually cast their special ability, first in legit way, then anywhere on the map. The second cast will proc regardless of water limitations.
This bug is really game breaking. Has been ruining my fun since japan release, and it only gets worse with time as more and more people find out what’s possible.
If there is no way to fix it ASAP, please disable the special ability for the time being. Ranked is filled with people trolling and ruining the fun for everyone.

The fact that this was posted in novembar 2025. and noone took actions still is really dissapointing!
Having such a simply way to clear armies/villagers with little effort makes provides an unfun gameplay experience. Its very easy to replicate and if its a hard coding issue they could remove the ability while its fixed. Japan will do fine without it.
