Unable to delete constructed buildings

I’m unable to delete buildings, either using the delete key on my keyboard or the UI button for deleting the building. Nothing happens when clicked.

This is for fully-constructed, existing buildings. Half-built in-progress buildings are deleting as expected.

Hey there, does this apply for all civs and all buildings?
Are these buildings by any chance being repaired when this happens?

I noticed that I have to press and hold the key. A small animation starts playing on the delete UI button and the building is only deleted after that animation completes. I suppose it’s a safety feature against accidental deletions.

You would be right. You’ll have to hold it for around a second. There should be a small animation that plays on top of the button to show progress until deletion.
