Unable to type after using arrow keys in chat box (until you move your mouse?!)

:arrow_forward: GAME INFORMATION

  • GAME BUILD #: 78757 (and in PUP - April 2023)
  • GAME PLATFORM: Steam
  • OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows 10 (Latest)

:arrow_forward: ISSUE EXPERIENCED

When using the arrow keys inside a chatbox the game freezes.

:arrow_forward: FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

  • 100% of the time

:arrow_forward: REPRODUCTION STEPS

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Start skirmish on any settings
  2. Open the chat box and type at least 1 letter, now use the left arrow key to move the cursor…
  3. Result → All further inputs are ignored.

EXCEPT: When moving the mouse or clicking. Constantly moving the mouse allows the continues use of the arrow keys.

Quick side note: This issue has been present for a looong time (years) - this doesn’t have anything to do with recent updates :slightly_smiling_face:
