this was a bug a couple years ago, then it was fixed, but was reintroduced a couple patches ago
so for example you have 20 KTs, 5 are already fighting at the front, but most of them are galloping from new production in the stables, and you use select all military units key, to attack a certain unit at the front, but as soon as it dies, 15 of the KTs which were still on their way, stop, instead of keep coming as well. This is a problem, as you are lacking army on the front when you would expect you would have it there by then
Do you have a rec with ingame timestamp where the issue happens?
ok ill get back to you when i have a new rec, because i noticed this doesnt happen on clean new start games currently. ill check if it happens on the ladder to me (longer lasting games)

This happens on a larger scale to, if you target a given unit, and that unit dies, the military that is coming from a distance stops running.
This bug also has a very clear trait, in that the military units don’t just idle, they are still in “running” animation, but are not moving
