since the recent patch, the mansa javalineer technology is aveliable in the archery range in feudal age without needing the farimba garrison

This really should be kept in the game. Before this patch Malians were extremely weak, with a 43% winrate in Conqueror, and the 2nd least picked civ at 4.5% pick rate.
The Mansa Javelins solve Malians biggest problem, which is lack of a crossbow unit(musofadi warriors are terrible), and ability to defend in early feudal.
With the change they still seem fairly balanced. Malian still has weak macro and is slow to get going, but this buff helps them survive.

If Malians need buffs, they can give them buffs. This is obviously a dumb thing to keep in the game.

They logged the report i.e. they have no clue when it’s gonna get fixed. It might be in January next year. Just corporate things. No one knows anything about anything.
Meanwhile, am I allowed to use it, or should I have ethics and ignore it? If others are using it and I’m not, I’m gonna lose to them in a direct fight. Will they get punished for it, or will I be the sucker that plays at a disadvantage for no reason?
Malian are still a below average civ with a sub 50% winrate, even with this supposed bug. You’re not going to get in any trouble for researching a tech that is available to you, nor are you at a disadvantage if your opponent is playing Malian…
