Urumi swordsman too strong. NERF PLZ

They did roughly about the same as Samurais do against Cataphracts and no need to capitalize Cataphracts.

This is a great point. This is the only “non-unique” unit and basically just combines existing abilities. This opposite of charge effect seems interesting.

Honestly I think Rathas feel more OP than Urumis, Rathas don’t cost food, have two modes and mobility, HP and good attack, the elite upgrade and Paiks aren’t that expensive techs, and on top of that have really good armor with 6/7 (same as Tatar heavy CA).

Its definitely a stronger and more usable unit than Urumis but not OP at all. Even in melee mode it takes bonus damage from skirms and its slower than knights or CA. Its a top ten uu probably but certainly not OP.

Ratha’s only thing that has to be addressed is melee arrows’ glitch.
That is extremely important and has to be patched fast.
With the right micro this thing is a problem.

I thought the same even before the DLC came out. This unit is a one-unit army and skirms weakness Is not really a thing when you can switch to melee and shred them in 5 seconds without taking damage due to minimum range… Not sure if OP but definitly strong and not as expensive as people claim It to be since elite upgrade is fairly cheap and cost no gold

Well it depends on the scenario, right? I mean in late game your opponent will probably throw halbs and or skirms at you as these counter ea still cost effectively unless you face 50+ units (at which point you probably lost either way). And bengalis shine here. They have 2 more atk with halbs (which is better than faster atk), they take less bonus dmg, have more pierce armor, bit more hp and move faster. I think in a lot situations that’s better than faster atk and hp regen.

Dravidian ea are clearly better vs cavalry and gold infantry while bengalis are better vs (most) ranged units and halbs. Not sure who performs best vs skirms but I can imagine it’s fairly equal.
