Villagers get stuck inside the town center. You can’t ungarrison nor send them back to work until you click to select another place and click to select the town center again. Hotkey doesn’t work and the icon disappears as you can see in the replay.
It happens when you select a group of villagers to garrison and right after try to eject them, while they have not yet all garrisoned. The garrison works fine, they will continue to garrison all vills, but then the bug triggers.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Select a group of villagers and garrison them in the town center
  2. While they are still garrisoning send a command to eject them, like ungarrison
  3. All vills get stuck in the tc until you select another place and reselect the tc

By the time you ungarrison the villagers, do you have the Town Center selected? Are you pressing “G” while the villagers are selected and garrisoning?

Hi Felizon,
Yes, town center selected when ungarrisoning and using hotkeys for garrison and ungarrison, but modified ones. I think there’s no conflict on any hotkey involved.

I just tested now and i was able to reproduce the same bug, the same way with the default hotkeys. But it’s a little more tricky, because it requires some speed and hability with the hotkeys. I don’t know if this is the only way to trigger the bug, but i’ll provide a more detailed step by step:

  1. Task vills to gather something but not hunt
  2. Select a group of vills that are not super close to the tc and use the hotkey to garrison them
  3. while they are on the way to garrison set the gather point / waypoint of the tc to the hunt and use the hotkey to ungarrison them. All this before they are able to garrison.
  4. when they finally garrison they get stuck and the tc shows no icons for ungarrison or back to work and the only way to put them out is select another place and reselect the tc.

It may sound very specific, but when i play i get the bug multiple times on every match.

The issue can be related to another known issue where the UI icons disappear… I informed the team about the issue and we’re gonna investigate it further. Thanks for the detailed report @AirmailAttic719 :slight_smile:
