Villagers killed while inside an outpost

I had 3 villagers garrisoned in an outpost (Mongols). They had just built it.

Then a nearby opponent knight did an attack animation and 2 of the villagers died while still in the outpost. I thought they would be safe.

Incident happens around the 0:30 mark. Game was played today in quickmatch 1v1.

looks like Royal Knight’s 2 charge attacks killed those two villagers in the outpost.
