Several times per AoE4 match, I send villagers to go build something, but when I check back later, they’re standing in the middle of an empty building foundation instead. Happens in every match. Sometimes I lose several minutes of resource gathering as when I check back after a few minutes they’re just standing there.
Am I the only one? I wasn’t able to find reports of this in AoE4 forums. The exact same thing happens in AoE2, as well (Villagers stand idle in middle of building foundation they should be constructing), but it’s much more frequent in AoE4 for me.
In AoE4 I have to watch like a hawk for everything I build to make sure they do their job, and/or re-task them a time or two while the villys are walking to the building foundation I’ve planted
