i agree and i apologise but please stop and try to see beyond AI (which is just a tool) and look at the ideas/suggestions which this should be about before you and some others started this hole AI-ethic discussion.

Keeping the game free of slop is a useful thing in my eyes. Keeping the forum also free of slop would also be a good thing.

I’m not tired just of the technology itsef, I’m also tired of people trying to police what is and isn’t a “valid” response to it. Don’t want me to complain about how bad it is for artists and for the environment? Stop talking about how uncontroversial and fun and useful this is. Because all that comes for the price of making actual artists’ life hell.

totally fair. you are completely right here - but thats not what i meant.
thats true but i post these images in fitting threads without the intension of creating a “hostile” atmosphere. also these are - in my personl opinion - more constructive contributions since they visualize ideas and changes - - in comparison your comments are just simply bashing AI art ignoring the fact they visualize ideas and suggestions. of course someone could say bashing AI - excuse me - “slop” is also some more or less helpful feedback for the game, but its still less contributive since the ideas e.g. i (and others) visulize with the help of AI cover more and and more generally “useful” content of the game. - if you cannot see this in your rage i cannot help you, mate.

You can use e.g. fire to create and destroy you know - same goes for a knife, the internet, media in general, politics… you name it and whatever you need to understand the metaphor better. Also i don’t use AI to manipulate or harass/insult ppl or whatever. If that would be the ultimate issue you have i would completely understand you, but its simply not the case and cause of that you look a bit… overreacting - to word it nicely.

Most of the posts you’ve made about this have been condescending:
Saying someone who disagrees with you is “blinded by rage and frustration” is condescending. Addressing someone you don’t know as “good sir” is condescending, especially in a context where you’ve already been condescending towards them in some other way.
Telling someone that the reason they claim to hold an opinion is not actually the reason they hold that opinion is condescending. Following it up with an apparently sarcastic “have a good day! ” is condescending.
Calling someone’s opinions “nonsense” just because they disagree with you is condescending.
Saying you have to bring someone’s mental health into question is condescending.
Telling someone they should expand their vocabulary is condescending, especially when they’re using that vocabulary correctly. (Like it or not, the term “slop” is widely used and understood in the sense @RatcicleFan is using it, and in English that is the only measurement of whether something is “correct”.)
Telling someone to create their own thread because they disagree with you is condescending.
Calling someone “too emotional” because they disagree with you is condescending.
Perhaps you didn’t mean to be condescending – you said you’re not a native English speaker, and a few things here could be down to that – but hopefully this explains why someone would interpret your behaviour that way.

Not to be political or anything, but the US Supreme Court just issued a bill that prevents copyright of ai generated images/art and they must be man made in order to recieve it. Literally the law says ai generated slop is not real art lol

its out of topic, this is about a game and the visualisations are contributions to this game as feedback, suggestions, criticism and ideas. its a tool which ppl can use and nothing more. if i say nonsense or get “condescending” or what tf ever its cause its a topic which should be part in another forum gets spammed senselessly over and over being always the same during the “slop” at least changes and are new ideas and suggestions.
you try to push your agenda* here and everywhere i ask (and being nice - even some say its sarcastic @TommoChocolate its still polite and nicer than these guys are so wtf do you want from me? that i act more like an adult and these guys are allowed to rage like kids?)
*and before some guys say blabla you do also agenda with your “slop”. no. i don’t want to push AI art i just use it as a tool to visualise ideas, criticism and suggestions. you on the other hand try to push your opinion and point of view about a topic which also doesn’t have anything to do directly with the game. its exhausting but i won’t give in to a few guys who criticse about me like i am the creator of AI and if they don’t have other options to actually criticse this in dedicated forums where its the main topic and more ppl think like them.
@TommoChocolate if you wouldn’t have posted this last part i would have responded immediately and less “sarcasticly” nice as you tell me i am - even tho i just try to be nice to solve the tension and try to imply that i don’t have anything against these guys and they should move on. thats not sarcastic thats problem-solving and trying to stay positive and too judgmental - especially since i was before - with the mental issues. which - even maybe right - was not fair - as long as you see it negative - which i could imply you see it. but i see mental issues not as something negative and more like some condition which often has its reason and it would be important to know these. but oh this would be too judgmental too on the other hand these guys ciriticse me and what i post like i am the master mind behind AI and thats its the most ethically questionable thing we have even there are way worse things out there and yes i can compare these with whatever when these guys make AI rage topics and comments 24/7 in a gaming forum where its about a game.

no. its real talk. i got confronted with such feedback too the past years from time to time. its a wake-up-call.
? where did you get this from? no its from someone who tries to be polite and try to be respectful.
again if i sounded in some way condescending then cause it might have a reason cause its beyond reasoning with the opposition and this is frustrating and annoying for someone like me (wait, was i now condescending towards me! but it seems i can deal with that - can you?)
? its part of a discussion/dispute/whatever. you never got told that what you say might sound wrong or might even really be wrong or overreacting? if thats the case i want to live and get raised where you live and got raised.
i already mentioned this but no, thats trying to stay polite and nice. trying to solve tensions and try to stay positive myself and give them the subtle hint to move on and see/think about other things. nothing less and nothing more.
as if this never happened to you someone told you this and i never thought "wow that guy is condescending when that guy wrote me this. i got angry or thoughtful but i never thought like that cause i don’t know the guy. (thats why the only wrong thing i personally did was the mental-issue one, which i want to apologise for. the rest tho is fair and fine.) heck, i really want to live and grow up where you did. seems like its a land without disputes, controversies and so on. or its a mentality/generation thing?

heck no. thats an authentic, respectful (and annoyed) advice. they really should make a thread with just that topic and talking about it - maybe i would join there aswell. its also an adivice cause like that its a spam over pages where more useful, interesting and creative stuff could have been posted and i don’t know about you but i know guys and me included who hate browsing over pages of something which is not related to a specific topic.
i would rather say that you try to be judgemental and condescending now.

okay i want to say the following here as quick and short as possible:
this hole “discussion” got way to heated and i still think its out of topic since its about ideas and not AI in general.
i got too personal cause i got angry and really annoyed i am sorry for that and want to apologise but its REALLY annoying to always get the same “slop”-posts over and over just cause i let AI visualise my ideas/suggestions aswell as some others and surprisingly the majority does understand this! was still not okay from me even some of you guys started this - i just posted ideas/suggestions and you - even partly understandable - started to argue over and over and questions/criticised my posts ignoring my and others ideas and suggestions and just focusing on the tool itself…
i wanted this to be a thread about ideas, suggestions, feedback about design directions of the game gathering feedback about designs/artstyles and letting others share their ideas, designs, feedback, criticism about designs, artdirections. i didn’t want this to evolve into a philosphical dispute about the tool AI itself and why its such a slop, crap or whatever you like or think of it. i already put too much effort intot these discussion and even i still think you guys don’t understand me and others even i think i understand you talking about moral and ehtical reasons hating this tool but i should already stopped investing time and nervs into these discussion preventing me from getting so angry and annoyed that i started to kinda attack you personally. thats what i am sorry about but i am not sorry for getting enraged myself cause of all the same simple posts over and over reading “slop” ignoring the visualised ideas FOR THE GAME. instead you could have drawn your ideas - i don’t have the money to draw so many images myself. (and maybe not the skill either…)

He hasn’t been mentioned, but I don’t think they can do an Aztec pantheon without involving Huitzilopochtli.
That would basically be leaving out Zeus for the Greeks.
Or if not Zeus, at least Athena.
That’s how important Huitzilopochtli is. He’s the sun and war god, and the patron diety of Tenochtitlan.

now thats a cool challenge and idea! i will give it a try! also i agree with @Armilus that Huitzilopochtli is also very important thats why i will try to start with him. all images will be created by AI and the inputs i will gave this tool by collecting important notes about every gods recognisable features.

- light (warm)
- war (blood)
- Tenochtitlán (building/temple)
- humming-bird (feahters/decoration)
- serpent-decoration
- shield
- resurrected/blue skin
- (serpent-sword with spikes)
Tezcatlipoca:
For me important features:
- night/nightsky
- black, cold
- constellation (jaguar)
- magic (smoke?)
- fate (wealth and poverty)
- obsidian
- mirror/portal
Quetzalcoatl: (human form!)
For me important features:
- serpent features
- wings/feathers
- green/shades of green as major colour
- Knowledge, learning, wisdom, intelligence (scrolls and staff?)
- human form available (human form priority for now cause all major gods are more or less humanoid looking)
(- human form: cone hat, beak mask, feathers priority)
→ will do animalistic monsterous form of Quetzalcoatl aswell next after a break.
also: i want to mention that i had the idea in mind that each of these major gods shows a specific “class” one being a warrior, one a shaman/warlock and one a wizard/sourcerer.
