Ok so a minor thing that I’ve noticed which would be good to be addressed either by the devs or a mod relating to pastures is how intrusive the little tent is in the middle of it. When you only have one its no big deal but when you get a bunch of these together it becomes hard to quickly see the villagers working on them and becomes hard to distinguish which villager is on which pasture. Sure you can work it out if you stare at it for an extra few seconds but in the middle of the heat of a game it takes a little too much concentration.
The fact that the player colour is also on the tent doesn’t help either and its different to how farms appear in game which is neutral meaning the villager sticks outs bit more against the background. As it stands, if you are blue for example, all and you have a bunch of these next to each other all you see is a sea of blue pixels on the screen and the tent obscuring the villagers behind it.
Possible solutions:
- Make the tent in the middle have neutral colours, this would make them the same as farms already in game which do not have player colours.
- Maybe remove the tent and make something way less intrusive in the middle if you must have something there to signify the drop off point. Maybe a hole in the ground? Maybe a small pile of meat?
- Ideally remove the tent in the middle all together and just have the pastures just be a flat piece of land with animals on it. Villagers can still drop off in the centre of the pasture but we don’t really need to see that tent.
