Am I mad or has Golden Pit been in the rotation for waaaaay too long? I swear every time I’ve looked at the final map pool in the last two months it’s been there. I’d like to see something else that isn’t “get the middle or lose” oriented.

Well, to be fair, sometimes it’s gold rush or golden hill. There are some differences between those maps worthy to consider while playing but the games on them usually feel quite similar…
Valley is a bit of an ara clone, but Serengeti and golden pit play quite differently

There is not enough closed maps. I hope developers in map rotation are required to give equal preference to arena type maps and arabia type maps. Since as a player I enjoy more of closed maps than open maps. It is kind request so everybody enjoys the game.

Idk what map they used but that doesn’t look anything like the Baltics
Agreed. Especially Serengeti. Getting extra hunt instead of a boar changes the build order a bit, and the scattered tree placement makes for awkward/impossible early walling.
Fortress is good for the memes…
