What about seize the mountain? It is my favorite new addition in the LotW expansion, but it was only in the pool once so far

But people really do like black forest. Back on HD half the lobbies were named “bf noobs” haha. We want people to play multiplayer, and if they’re comfortable with black forrest team games that are more casual but lead to the big post imp unlimited gold brawls, let them have it. Chances are as they get better they start migrating to Arabia.

I gotta be honest. As a player who only enjoy playing a handfull of maps. This map rotation is really taking the fun out of the game for me. The fact that whether i have fun playing the game for 2 weeks in a row is solely dictated by what maps there is to play in the pool feels so sad. Sure as a Nomad-Lover the next 2 weeks is looking good, and the fact that Nomad might also be in 1 v 1 pool is even better. But the fact that this weeks map pool is great for my taste does not change the overall problem.
I once again make a plea for the system to change. The system right now is in my opinion floored. I caters towards the majority by votes which gives os the same maps over and over again when they are in the voting mappool. I propose removing the limitations on the maps. Both in the number in the pool and the amount of bans. Giving people more maps to choose from and the option to ban all but one map gives people the choice to play what is most fun for them and therefore better options to enjoy the game.
I understand that this could become a problem with competitive integrity if people at the top of the ladder only plays one “niche” map all the time. So i agree that limitations on top level player, i dont know the number maybe top 200 is needed and im fine with that for the purpose of keeping the competitive integrity.
Another options is remaking the casual mode. I dont see why there need to be any restrictions in that mode. Why not let me freely choose what maps i wanna play, from all the maps available. It could play random with all the maps in the game for variety or let me ban all but on map. Sure i get that i should be ready for the queue to take some time, but that really should be my choice if i enjoy the game more like that. What we have right now is a casual mode, which is completely the same as ranked and really have no purpose at alle.

I think Arabia and Arena shouldnt be in the Map Pool 24/7 , people are already bored of those…

Exciting maps this week, fingers crossed my favourite coastal forest can make it in!
I just wanted to counter the current comments by saying that I think you are doing a great job with these map pools. Always having 1 nomad, arabia, and the two popular closed maps gives people their familar comforts whilst you rotate the other two. I have had great fun on migration which I never would otherwise have played.
I think the addition of costal forest, attacama, african clearing & sieze the mountain were very refreshing additions and I hope that maybe more maps (maybe some inspired by hidden cup?) may make it in soon!
It’s better to make 1 nomad type map in every map pool
