Warrior Monk not healing in combat is a big nerf

There was a recent change making Warrior Monks attack in combat, to apply the buff. It is reasonable to some degree, but not really. Their damage is awful and you’d rather have them heal your units (that is kind of the point of a religious combat unit). I could get around this usually by toggling off Auto heal initially, letting them attack–then turning it back on in combat to make them heal.

Now however, it is impossible. They will only attack and to heal in combat, you need to specifically select them and right click the units you want to heal. Bad solution, and this is overall a massive nerf.

The attack already provides an armour buff (which i think got buffed in the patch you’re talking about), wouldn’t it be too OP to also provide healing?
But yeah, an odd issue. Disadvantaged if they never heal during combat either.

Bringing this up again.

They made a change a while back to where Warrior monks will attack by default instead of healing in combat. The problem with this, is that there was in fact more control available to the player before. While the Warrior Monk would prioritize healing, the player could toggle it off to command them to battle, allowing you to acquire the buff needed and set them back to automatically heal.

Right now, this is not possible anymore. The Warrior Monk will always engage in battle, and to heal in combat, you need to manually select each unit you want to heal, as they will immediately return to combat once that single unit is healed up.

Revert this, please.
