Hi, I’ve noticed some unusual censorship on two of my custom campaigns for Age of Empires: Definitive Edition on the modpage.
Moses, Prince of Egypt has the words slavemaster and bondage censored in this description shown below:
The Story of Exodus has the word bondage censored in this description shown below:
I understand bondage and slavemaster are not nice words (though slavery is not censored), but contextually they are appropriate to describe the events of the Biblical exodus. Even the King James Bible uses the term bondage to describe the state of the Hebrews of the Exodus:
“Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:” (Exodus 6:6)
Request the censor be updated to allow these terms in submissions. Thank you.
