 DESCRIBE THE ISSUE IN DETAIL (below). LIMIT TO ONE BUG PER THREAD.

I don’t know what exactly triggers it but after putting some triggers in a custom map the westernmost part of it gets explored (no fog of war). Does anyone know why?

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Add many triggers to a custom map (?)
  2. Start the game
  3. After a while the western corner of the map removes the fog of war around it.

I guess it shouldn’t happen (?)

Hi @SamePorpoise303
Could you send us this scenario to investigate the issue?
Thanks for your report.

I have a custom campaign uploaded in mods, it’s called “Constantinople - the end of the ancient world”. If you look at the third scenario at a certain point (I never noticed precisely when) the western part of the map becomes explored (but still hid by fog). But this is only one example among many.
I can try to post a picture maybe if it can help.

If you can, send my a screenshot and a savegame

I have had the exact same thing in one of my scenario. It doesn’t bother me at all, but I managed to identify what causes it.

In my case: I had created a garrisoned Scroprion within each War Galley the player controls (I had allowed it through triggers). This effect works perfectly fine, but seems to trigger the Western most corner of the map to become explored but still under fog of war, like stated.

Now I ran tests since, and it would appear than every time Player 1 uses the trigger effect Create Garrisoned Objects, the bug triggers (see screenshots below). So the Create Garrisoned Objects effect causes the issue.

Thanks, I was about to write it because thinking about it I remember that at the start of a scenario I used “create garrisoned object” on a transport ship and that’s when the bug happened.
