As title says, the game needs serious improvements and fixes to be on shape for todays gameplay. As many of us have noticed, it seems like they are updating the game under the hood, but sadly nothing of this work has been mentioned yet (at least not offcially)
I think most important things for the game are
Balance issues addressing (for example: Ottomans and Baja California Mexico Revolt must be tunned down and Argentina Revolt tunned up).
Bugfixes, glitch patching and more
Performance fixes: So game would feel snappier even on low machines
Pathfinding improvements: A need since OG days. No more unit stuck, clash, slowed down for nothing, or so
UX/UI overhaul: for a better user experience, less frustrating and easy to use. A better Multiplayer Lobby Screen, Always-present friend list, better HUD placement, and more.
DLCs, MP and SP content, including historical campaigns and civilizations
Feel free of add another idea to this list, AoE III community!
Azap looses ranged multi against light cav or atleast 2-4 range. honestly a pike crossbow hybrid should not be a thing.
Humbaraci should not be a 2 pop light cannon with arty resistence. Remove arty resistence. Also deny discount from age 4 card.

Italy:
Carabiniere should be a guard upgrade for dragoons. No mortar and culvs don’t count as guards. The Church card should instead make the guard upgrade cheaper and add in essence the catridge currency effect on dragoons.
Lombards are not compensating for a second factory. Also lombards are too micro intensive. Suggestion, allow for auto add in and give them a basic coin trickle that should add up to 1.2 coin when having built all 5, espcially since you somehow insist Italy should be a merc civ.
On the later part: Supposedly we are looking at a civ that has outsourced it’s fighing capabilities to mercs. Ok, why do i have no access to merc guarantees? Elmetto and Armored pistoleers should be guaranteable and there should be infinite cards for these mercs.
Also tripple ressource merc shipments are too expensive due to Wood cost and the macro for that beeing far more annoying.

Africans: Same issue as with the Lombards the micro on over complexity of the cattle mechanic is not helping.
Good points, but the main issue is that the development of the game has been discontinued, despite being relatively new and having a lot of potential for future content, but hey, hail Microsoft.
The most annoying issues that stop me from enjoying the game are the performance problems that have existed since the original version: the micro‑stutters that occur when aging up or when receiving a shipment, and the turtle‑icon behavior in multiplayer that causes players to lag and eventually disconnect. At this point, it’s almost impossible to play a match without someone dropping.
There’s a ton of memory leaks that should be fixed asap. Won’t name them because they are super easy to pull off and I don’t wanna encourage griefing.
After they fix the first five issues that you’ve written here, I think they should really think hard about adding some new SP content, especially full-length campaigns, I don’t even care if they’re only 5 missions long, Homecity Card progression and all.
Bug,exploit and performance fixes are most important.
Would love a Napoleon campaign. That is one of the biggest things missing from AoE III. I don’t know what they have been thinking by never having that. Don’t ever see it becoming a thing
