What am I doing wrong, there are rarely any games in the lobby browser

I must be going to the wrong place or something as when I start the game on my PC and go to the lobby browser, there are rarely any games at all? Is there another way to look for games to join?

Make sure that your game is up to date! Latest build is the 35209.

OK I see it now 33315.0.0 Why does it not auto update? How do I get the latest version
