I think naval warfare is the worst part of this game, the absolutely majority of players bans water maps and hybrid maps, because only few civs can perform well on those maps, and i personally don’t enjoy the actual gameplay at all, i find it boring and not funny.

So what if dock is removed? How would it be to play on maps like canal, mongolian heights, confluence, danube without it? Water would just become a natural obstacle, and a source of food for shore fish, and maybe we would see many more civs played on those maps.

I don’t know if they have to be removed but I agree with you that I don’t enjoy playing hybrid/water maps. The feeling is like “I MUST take the water or just surrender”.
