WHAT is going on with mongol knights tech tree?

Look at the knight in the mongol tech tree.

Now look at the cavalier.

Same health. Same armor. Same attack. Same defence. Other civ knights have -2 attack. So whats up with mongol knights? Why the +2 attack? And why do they have the cavalier upgrade if their knights are as strong as cavaliers?

Im sorry but… what??

There is literally no difference. And yes, I seen the other civs, no difference.

If in case you saw something like 10+2 knight, the +2 means Mongol player did forging and iron casting upgrade from the blacksmith. And in case if you saw 10+4 knight, its possible the player reached imperial age and did blast furnace but didn’t get cavalier upgrade. If the Mongol player was castle age and still you saw 10+4 knight, its possible the opponent team has a Lithuanian player with relics and the Mongol player converted a few Lithuanian knights.

When in a game, your techtree updates with your current unit stats, so if you research the blacksmith melee attack upgrades, your knights would have 12 attack, hence why they are shown like this in the techtree.
