AoMR Advanced Access starts tomorrow! Midnight UTC. So it’s the 27th for the Americas and the 28th for everyone else.
Ignoring going into the settings, looking at the techtree or things like that.
I probably go into settings first. Then after adjusting the settings I will go and try out Freyr cause I am really curious and excited. Then I might either play a couple other games vs AI or go into editor looking at as much as possible and then after that I will start the campaign after such a long long time. And you?
Tech tree to theorycraft and familiarize myself, then ranked 1v1 or 2v2 most likely!
I’ll replay the tutorial and campaign(s) for sure, but if I do that first thing after going into the settings, I’m not sure yet. Maybe I’ll get a skirmish round in first. I’ll probably decide once I load into the main menu.
I’ll most likely start the campaign if there’s an option for the old voicelines or when there’s a mod for it.
So I’m going to start with a Titan difficulty skirmish. 12 players, Greeks vs Egyptians vs Norse vs Atlanteans. All the original gods duking it out. Yet to choose the map though, anyone got suggestions as to the best map for this showdown?
After changing the settings and looking at the techtree changed since the beta including the new Major God Freyr I will likely just directly jump into the campaign again.
Not sure if I will finish the entire campaign before I jump into other things. Maybe I will try out Freyr depending on the bonuses and Minor gods.
I might change my mind once I actually have the game in my hands too.
There won’t be an option for it and it’ll take a while for mods to come out.
The mods will have to adjust the cut scenes and stuff too so the length of the audio clips matches and so on.
Maybe the new Mount Olympus map would be a fitting location for this showdown.

They have old portrait pack as part of Premium Edition
Massive downgrade. Just because it’s (sometimes) a better resolution it doesn’t mean it’s better art.
Same as every other game for me. First tutorial, then campaign on hardest difficulty. Really excited for this!
Old voices is what I want. The new voice acting is abysmal.
They rerecorded some of the voices.
But I haven’t listened to them yet.
I’m going to be giving the campaign an honest play through with the new voices. However I have already installed the old voices mod just in case.
Update. It’s better than it was but it’s still bad.
