I’d like to play Spanish or Vietnamese, and some Native americans.
I hope In the later dlc that was determined to release in 2025, will contain more than 2 original civs and no more variants to reflect wider world.
What do you think, I want you to leave a comment, sir!

I think the most important civilizations that are missing are the Castilians and the Native Americans. They should have been introduced much earlier, but let’s hope they add them now—otherwise, it’ll be a big disappointment and won’t attract as much of a Hispanic audience, which is exactly what the game is lacking.
Why native americans they dont fit into aoe4? Aztecs could work but even that will be a bit of a stretch
I’m excited for whatever it is. Even variants. I care about the mechanics above all else.
New civs I think would be good ideas though would be Khmer, Bulgarians, something Scandinavian, something Iberian, etc…
Yes, you put the Aztecs and Incas from AoE 3 into AoE 4 and that’s it… they wouldn’t be that different from the Malians, except they would have shock infantry instead of cavalry…
There are more forced civilizations in the game while others that are much more important are missing, and let’s not forget that this is a game and it’s impossible to make it completely true to history.
