What’s steamdb aoe3de happen

Just steam related things

Nothing to be excited for, sadly!

My dude, you ask this every time Steam makes a change. And the answer is still nothing.

Actually, you might be onto something. We’re seeing changes in steamdb over the last month but no similar changes for AOE1. If it were steam related, we’d see changes there too. It’s not worth building hype up yet, but something might be moving

Please let us know if things continue to look interesting if you happen to be checking on it.

I don’t expect this to happen, but if we got a good patch (ie net losses on the bug-issue spectrum and positive balance changes) that’d be big for rebuilding good will imo.

My one concern would be we either get more serious bugs, or balance is worsened.

I hope the pressure from the players paid off.

It’s probably a balance and bugfix patch that underway but there’s no guarantee it will actually be delivered.

I doubt they would release the actual DLC unless they were almost done anyway.

It would also explain why aomr development has gone cold lately.

Agreed. New content would be rather shocking, and unless it was going to be a total reversal on the cancellation I’m not sure we would actually want any. I want bug fixes and Ottoman + Baja California Mexico nerfs and a few small buffs to some of the weakest civs like Malta and Sweden.

This is the most important thing
Baja and Ottomans should be nerfed along with lags and bugfixes

I have seen AoM Retold development being slowly down
And they have brought experience and influence emojis to official Discord as user Joshua667746 posted, which is a good sign!

I know im stupid for that exact reason, but bro… this sentence made my brain flood with so much (justified? false?) hope😅

Man, i wish theres gonna be a patch so bad

That’s fascinating. I’m not on discord.

There’s a valid hope, because we know FE must be doing work on the game. Unfortunately, it’s not worth getting hyped about yet since the game is still controlled by the trash studio that is World’s Edge, and they can refuse to publish FE’s changes. They’ve done this before; we know there was work done in Nov ‘24 that was torpedoed by EW. We have to wait and see if EW decides to actually put on their big boy pants and support AOE3

Although, if work is being done now, after the game was canned, presumably WE has signed off on a new patch?

Presumably, but they signed off on a DLC before and we saw where that went. I’ll be watching warily since I don’t trust these corporate drones

Friends,I still think the WE can’t be trusted, they will not give us anything more(although I hope it),I remember an old saying——“Fool me once, shame on you;fool me twice, shame on me.”

Yeah is better to expect nothing then we are not going to be dissapointed after all!
If something comes, great
But if not well we must continue as it is!

Friend,I really hope to see bug fix,new cards,or even new revs, although I know it is completely impossible, lol.

Oh, certainly not. I wouldn’t trust this studio with half a leftover sandwich.

Not impossible, just exceedingly unlikely.

To have any hope of converting exceedingly unlikely to reality, we as a community need to keep up the public and financial pressures.
