Assuming they are planning new content to release at some point in 2026, what would you most like it to be (top two picks)?
Of the options, a 4th Greek and Atlantean God interest me the most. Iāve heard Demeter and Nyx suggested as possible 4th major gods.
Among other things Iād like to see added- I really like playing around with the different blessings in the more arcadey modes, so I hope they continue to expand upon the arena of the gods mode. Canāt wait to see whatās coming next week.

I voted for Mesoamerican and other (Slavic) but tbh iādā¦.probably want Mesoamerican first, but after that Slavic, Mesopotamian, and Celtic can be in any order.
I do like the idea of adding 4th major gods for other existing civs, but tbh iād rather see full new civs first.
Ability to disable Wonders with lobby settings. New civilizations. New maps.
i agree demeter/hera/hestia and nyx next as 4th major god would be GREAT. if its nyx i hope she gets leto, reha and hekate as āoldā minor gods.
and i also would like to see either mesoamerican or mesopotamian or celt. but i would lean to mesopotamian cause its i assume āeasierā to do than mesoamerican and would add amazing cool myth units but on the other hand if they can and take their time mesoamerican would be really unique and would add i bet REALLY cool maps.
I personally would love a brand new pantheon. Right now, we have Greek, Egyptian, Nordic, Chinese and soon Japanese pantheons. I like to see (aside from the Mesoamericans) a pantheon of:
Either way, Iām sure this will take alot of work and time, so whatever surprises the team will have in 2026, Iām good, since we just got both the Chinese and Japanese pantheons added in. Just keep em coming!!
Iād like new major gods for the Greeks, Egyptians, and Atlanteans. Chinese and Japanese are pretty fresh and donāt really need it, plus it would be DLC for DLC (unless you have them as a standalone that gets access to the pantheon as only one major god). It feels like a good bridge to another pantheon and gives the developers some breathing room to fix bugs, since adding gods is less intense than adding a whole new pantheon.
Both Celtic and Mesoamerican pantheons but also 1 new major god for the ones who didnāt get (Greeks, Egyptians, Atlanteans and Chinese).
Release notes says āWhile this release marks the completion of the Premium Edition content (and a bonus portrait!), itās not the completion of our work. The team will be focused on any community feedback based on our latest release and then heads-down again on longer-term updates.ā
So, I have some doubts about future additional content. Maybe they will focus on AoE2 and AoE4 in the future.

Or perhaps them being careful to not create for themselves another AOE3 Baltics situation; perhaps they plan for another DLC but donāt want to commit yet in case something happens.
Yes, I read it as āwe are taking some time to gauge interest and see how things work out. We might start working on something in the future, but wonāt announce it until itās 90% completeā. I think if interest/ sales are high theyāll do more, but they donāt even want to tease us a little in case they get pulled off by the higher ups. They are clearly only committing to a couple of bug fixes at this point.
Iāmā¦about 80% confident we will get at least 1 more DLC. My thought is that most units of the Chinese and Japanese DLC were bought with the premium edition at launch, and they will want to gauge how a DLC will sell on its own and do at least 1 more to test it. Anything beyond that would depend on how that one test DLC does.
I did also see someone comment that they thought a cutscene monologue at the end of the campaign hinted that a new DLC was being worked on. In watching that particular cutscene (no spoilers) I do certainly think that it could be that person having confirmation bias, but I do also kinda see where theyāre coming from. Only time will tell though of course.
A Mesoamerican and a West African (either Vodun or Yoruba) pantheon would be cool!
Yeah, I got the feeling that they were hinting at more at the end of the campaign story. What youāre saying makes sense regarding one more to test the waters. Would it be a pantheon or a 4th major god though? I feel the next DLC will be a 4th major god, minimal work (less resources), less risky and potentially bigger pay off if it does well
I think full new pantheon, because that end of the campaign referenced new artifacts to be found, which to me implies a full campaign, and they donāt do campaign for just a 4th major god. Not ruling it out, but thatās how I read it personally.
The big probability is that the game will have 1 more dlc before being killed off like aoe3.
They clearly are too greedy to keep more than 2 games up and running. The quality of aomr is unfortunately not that great, with bugs being in the game for months and not getting fixed and the new content clearly lacks proper QC
Before adding new pantheons, which Iād love to see, the developers should first give the existing pantheons their missing fourth major god.
in spring (about march 2026) we will know much more. i assume around that time a new pantheon will get announced - if a new one is coming (hopefully 
) and i think somewhere in between in the winter we will get a new 4th major god (i assume greek personally) the next 4th major god after that might come in summer next year. these are my predicitons.
