What would you like to see in 2026?

Yeah!
They should fix crashes, performance and balance towards current Cavalry Spamming Meta

Things are worried about on that matter are the Siege Units for those American Civs :worried:
Would they go for a more historical accurate approach by letting them use Captured Cannons, Sappers, Rams, Mantlets or would they go for all basic Siege Engines as other civs?

They’ll probably go with the AoE 3 scheme and call the natives’ European siege weapons “captured siege weapons”: captured cannon, captured culverin, captured ribadoquin (I don’t see the natives using trebuchets, since they were never used in America in the 16th century, even the one Cortés used was self-destructed)… springards either, battering ram maybe…

Here is the news page of AoE4:

And here, the only hints that we have about the DLC. The didn´t make any other announce after that.

Until i Know, the Season 11 gonna end at April 2, so we have 6 weeks until the end of the season.

Considering that each new DLC came out near the end of another season, and that the announcements started a month earlier, we might have news in 1 or 2 weeks.

I know those pages but AoE4 dlc news are missing now.It wasnt like that before.

They disabled the DLC sub-section of News for all games from the main page. Perhaps it was too much space to dedicate a news section just to DLC, considering they only released one topic every six months or so.

Plus, they now broadcast a lot of hints and spoilers on Twitter, Discord, or even on the Steam store itself.

They spoke abit about it in the aoe 4 patch notes

Yes, the Viking DLC (or the new variants DLC) should be released in early April… and if not, release everything together in early November: Vikings, maybe Aztecs, the new variants, and the Chinese campaign…

Just more campaigns DLCs and more historical battles as I don’t usually play multiplayer

Vikings is later in the year, Chinese is first

Yes, perhaps it will be a Chinese campaign with Russian, Ottoman, and Malian variants, called “The Silk Road,” and at the end of the year, The American/Atlantic Conquerors/WarChiefs: Vikings and Aztecs…

Yeah that would be really good

Imagine the people the game would atract if they release good Campaign DLCs as those of II DE

I am entirely seconding this!

They didnt said anything about any new variants but if they do something like this it will be so good.

Yes, but they’re the only civilizations that don’t have variants yet (maybe Seljuks, Novgorod, and Songhai?)…that’s why I wouldn’t rule out them being included in the next variant DLC before the Viking (and Aztec?) DLC…

This. Make AOE4 great again so the AI builds WALLs

AI and AI and more AI. I would happily pay for an AI update.

Have AI teammates also be able to send resources to other AI or you if you ask.

Have AI use their abilities for special units and civilisations like HRE repair or Chinese Spy ability

I second this
An AI update is very much needed for practicing, PVE and Casual Players

Yeah!

That would be pretty awesome. An option for both readability and inmersion

This game needs a units ui smiliar to AoE 3 unit ui which contains attack speed and bonus damages can be seen with one look. Not howering over to the damage to see what are the bonuses.I hope devs look and inspect and have a better understanding of AoE 3 unit ui which i think its the best one in game so far.
