Mongol being able to spam archers to make a serious army AND steppe right into the castle age is absolutely absurd.

Go ahead and test it for yourself, pick English, go straight longbows.

Watch Mongol match your production ANNNNNNNNNND tech castle, while you’re sitting at under 150 resources spending every dime on production

I think the devs said that instead of nerfing the top civs (Rus, Mongols, China) they are going to buff the other civs up so they can compete equally with the top civs. I agree though, facing Mongols in particular is very annoying because of how cheaply they can mass units while also teching up.
