I’m wondering if anyone here knows any good sites to go to for build orders? I know they’re important if you want to get better at the game, but most of the ones I find online are either outdated or really confusing/don’t seem like they’d work.
In AoE4World there are tools to improve. Some tools are BO websites.
The best imo
Thanks.
But this is the kind of issuing I’ve been running into. A lot of these BO websites are really outdated, and haven;t been updated for Sultans.
Try searching on YouTube and look for the most recent date. I like to model the build order according to my taste, and I often test combinations solo in the game. Another thing I like to do is watch replays, and when I play with someone using a civilization that interests me, I look at their opening to get ideas I hadn’t thought of before. But if I have no idea and want to get a start to understand how to begin, I believe YouTube is the best place.
on youtube, marinelord (only in french) ,i’m french so not a problem lol
or beastyqt, very nice and a lot of video
So the best way to do this is basically to watch and try to imitate what you see in pro games?
there are a lot of different bo for a same civilisation, depend of what kind of game you like.
personnaly i like rush, so i do bo “rush”.
it’s just for the 5 first minute of game, after that you play like you want and like you can lol
I see. I guess I’m just more used to the AOE II style where you would basically learn 3-4 basic builds that worked in like 90% of cases. But with AOE IV that doesn’t work as well because of all the unique civ mechanics.
The build orders have no secrets; for most civilizations, you can follow the same one without any problem. Only between Mongols and Abbasids is there a significant difference. Malians and some others have specific buildings that are good to make at the beginning, but you can still follow a standard build.
What I believe we should know to choose a path is which landmark to follow to advance to the next age
Thank you! I need some good English ones
