Hello Age of Empires community
With season one we get a cool new art of war mission.
I find them great for learning a certain area from the game in a very funny way.
For the next seasons I wish two art of war missions. One which teaches you how to defend effectively and another which teaches you how to defend a rush and raids.
This kind of art of war missions would be helpful for new players because it is very frustrating seeing your villagers raided or your base killed in the first minutes and you don’t know good strategies against it.
Which art of war missions would you like to see next?
I would like weekly art of War mission with a ladder for the fastest, or For those who have lasted longer (like a mission for those who resist against increasing attacks)
Win a game in 11 minutes or less.
That one would really push players to achieve general efficiency.
REAL PLAY ART OF WAR !!!
“Noob play art of war”- mass your Civ special unit and win (just mass your Civ specials unit(s) aka royal knights for French)
“late game 1v1 art of war”" -Mass just siege and win (have team ai protect while you boom to mass seige and kill everyone)
" TEAM GAME art of war" - make a wonder and win (have 3 team ai protect you while you all and boom to wonder. Bonus points if you mass crossbowmen on all the walls with keeps)
THIS WILL PREPARE NEW PLAYER FOR THE REAL MILTI EXPERANCE. THIS IS WHAT THEY WILL FACE 100% OF THERE ONLINE GAMES.
I think the most obvious thing is to continue with the unique units of each civilization
I’d like to see some civ specific ones.
Rus bounty hunting (and teach the AI to do it and deny it, lol).
Abbasid multi TC openings.
Naval openings so people have a general idea of how this was all intended.
Siege fights and hybrid siege fights.
Tbh… can custom Arts of War be made with mods? Seems good potential there, people could come up with a lot more and these could be used for teaching the community.
Creating Art of War Challenges with mods would be awesome. Would be very cool if this would be possible with the mods tools once.
