White Feather Guards look too Overpowered

So these guys are like Eagle Warriors that cost way less gold, have high PA, bonus attack vs Elephants, Cavalry and Camels, and even against Shock Infantry as well, with a nice 11 seconds of training time, and the snare mechanic, well that and also having 95 (100) HP as well, ohhh and add the Liu Bei Hero so they even freaking regenerate HP 1111111

Armenian Champions have 1 less pierce armour but do 9 more damage. That is more then the bonus damage they have vs. cavalry.
8 Damage is not much but they are missing 2 blacksmith upgrades.

Also like all Infantry they are slow and can relatively easily be avoided. This comparison shows Infantry in the best case scenario.

Tbh after the Obuch wasnt super opressive I think it will be hard to deliver a broken infantry UU

Take into account that poles had the stone bonus and a super good food eco, the Shu look OP to me but its more about their arbs with +2 attack, good siege, cheap archer techs. Their eco is good but I dont think it can make the White Feather Guard more appealing than that

I think the way they beat longbows indicates that they may be a bit too strong. On the other hand, they do have high PA mixed with low melee armor, and these tests don’t really test micro (which may be able to flip things around). I think they’re intended as a support unit that can guard against cavalry and keep opponents from fleeing, but are vulnerable against enemy infantry and siege. Basically, they pair well with ranged units (which are what the Shu specialize in), though both are weak to siege.

They loose to Flemish Militia xD

Almost any UU can neat Longbows in a tiny arena.
Longbows don’t have a high DPS, they have a high range.
