You are right, I’m trying to seek but nothing. Although some one said Mongol meet elephant war in Daly before come Việt and got a won at first match with experience, but not thing about it. Yunnan have elephant but not thing talk Daly get elephant they are nearby Việt and Burmese but not learn from they how to use elephant in war. It is huge mistakes. But they are together with China still use elephant for royal worship ritual only, elephant is spirit animal in Buddha ( special any white animals it consider bring lucky for dynasty or the emperor rule kingdom).
Very unlikely since they have the same armor class as eagles.
I think you speculated the tech tree preview belongs to Bai? There is no 2nd UU there (except maybe the siege)
The drop-down tech tree does not show UUs on them at the moment. So I don’t think they would suddenly add them.
I mean shrivamshas are still displayed there and it’s a UU. If your civ has more than 1 UU, you will find at least 1 there
90% of this topic has been speculation…
Huh. I swore they didn’t.
Well. Then the Fire Archer either does not belong to the Bai and that tech tree does, or vice versa.
Just speculating:
Fire Lancers and Rocket Carts for Jurchens, Tanguts and Khitans. Hei Guang, Traction Trebuchets and Triple Crossbows for Bais and Tibetans. The Siege Ship is for all 5.
Jurchen UU: Iron Pagoda & Grenadier
Tangut UU: Poxi
Bai UU: Bai Li
Tibetan UU: Fire Archer
Khitan UU: ???
I was speculating about Imperial Steppe Lancer for Khitans, but the tech tree shown is Khitans, I’m 90% sure, 10% goes for Tanguts. Jian Swordsman is incredibly basic, I think it is just a campaign unit.
It will be interesting to see what the devs do for the armor bonuses for the Bai. Soldiers in Da Li were famous for using Rattan in their armor, similar to a lot of other cultures in Southeast Asia (Rattan Archer as an example), but their leather armor was really something special. Asian Rhino and buffalo hide was said to be almost as effective as iron armor.
Tibetans were not even good at gunpowder.
Han people only, Jurchen too not good at gunpowder.

Someone thinks we won’t have Tibetans. Instead it will be Nepalis.
Unreasonable and illogical speculation.
Nepalis were petty kingdoms in Medieval Period only uniting towards the Colonial Age. Their addition will be cool but unlikely. Cashmere will be a better choice in the Himalayas.
Just a wild guess. There were rumors (or leaks?) that one of the civilizations would have a lot of naval bonuses.
Another wild theory is that they are going to split up Korea.
It would be funny.
Tanguts, Bais, Tibetans were all landlocked. Khitans were almost landlocked.
Jurchen tried a lot with their navy, but they failed. Their navy was famously bad, but they used them a lot.
A republic of merchants oligarchy in the South and a strong monarchy in the north?
Korean people really formed two kingdoms in medieval era, Goguryeo/Balhae on north and Silla/Korea on south.
North kingdom was defeated by Khitans in 10th century and vanished in history, so not quite many people have heard of them.
Patch drops tonight.
DLC early May.
Great! So we can except more contents than what patch note had told us.
