Considering Sirens are in the game and mentions Persephone, it looks like she will be a minor god.Also we have a hearth building in the picture hinting at Hestia.
Curious to see what is the third minor god. I wonder if it’s Pan with Hamadryad.

Where exactly is the text from?
My guess would be that this isn’t the temple but the wonder.
But the wolf-creature being related to the story of King Lykaon, who was turned into a wolf as punishment for serving Zeus (in human disguise) human meat, was my guess too.
The oven/hearth to the right gives me strong Hestia vibes, so I’m guessing, the “Lycan” is hers.
Even i still would like to see Hera as a major god someday (old devs really made a flaw here) i honestly agree with this thought that she might be the mythic age option for Demeter (logically it just makes sense regarding Freyr and Hel i agree - tho Hera should still have a major god status unlike Hel but whatever i guess x) )
DAMN! Siren looks REALLY great!
Demeter statue looks AWESOME! (unlike her portrait which has good ideas but looks a bit ood to me)
back to topic:
Persephone: i think Persephone SHOULD be a thing but on the other hand is definitely odd when Zeus has Hera (even Hera should be a major goddess but i am a broken record here i know)
regarding the myth units either Siren or Nymph would fit her the best.
Pan: Would be a cool addition but Pan without Satyrs (which should be greek as well as stymphalian bird and not atlantean..!) is odd. So i doubt Pan will be in it unfortunately.
Hypnos/Morpheus: both would be cool aswell in my opinion but none except maybe Siren would fit them. (and yes i know devs not always look what fits the best to certain minor gods - especially not the devs of old AoM for whatever reason)
Nemesis: would be badass but some say she should be atlantean? i think she would be a cool addition and if there won’t be a gryphon i think Lycan could fit her well. But not sure…
Nike: also a solid choice but none of the mytth units fit her really well.
Hestia: also popular and since the made the flaw and did hera as a minor god (broken record i know) the potential Hestia will be a minor god is definitely there… but two things speak against it: 1. none of the shown myth units fit her, 2. the new devs try to be more accurate decisions than the old devs.
Who else could it be?
my guess could be Plutus! God of wealth with the creature of wealth Gryphon! 
Who fits Lycan, Nymph and Siren/(or potential other myth unit) the best?
At the moment i would say:
classical age - Lycan - ?
heroic age - Nymph - Persephone
mythic age - ? - Nemesis or Nike or Plutus
Siren seems to be a scout or docks unit (?)
I also suspect we’re gonna get Hestia and Hera as Mythic choices, which I think is stupid for several reasons, Hestia and Artemis would be the superior choice, but that’s probably not gonna happen…
I think Lycan would actually fit Hestia.
That’s because of the myth he’s from.
Yes, it’s Zeus who does the punishing by turning King Lykaon into a wolf, but what he’s punished for is cooking and serving Zeus human meat. And cooking, hearth, home… That’s Hestias domain.
as if obvious choices would have been always the case for AoM since its release… i mean look at Athena having not medusa and not being mythic age as she in my honest opinion should be. Cyclop being for Ares even there would be better fitting choices. (at least Athena is not available for Poseidon), Apollo and Artemis should be both same tier as siblings like chinese and japanese have them. and the list goes on.
Yeah, the original devs back in 2002 didn’t put a lot of effort in staying true to the mythology in that regard. And what was in the original game was simply copied over, pretty much one to one (with some changes. The biggest one being Sobek replacing Hathor, but that’s just a portrait and a name, and that change was attacked hard by fans of the original game. Nostalgia is one heck of a drug)
New devs have the opportunity to do better, and it seems with the new pantheons, they somewhat do.

Who cares about not 100% faithful lore or Hades not getting Persephone, at this point.
Njord is Freyr’s father but Freyr still got Bragi instead, or Satyrs not tied to Dyonisus etc..
The only thing I disliked was the heavy-feudal inspired Japanese civ, but in the end they have to sell a product, samurai and ninjas were the most sellable units ever so..

Atlanteans are stealing greek mythology tho. It’s extanded greek pantheon if we are honest.
So in reality it’s kind of fine. But if they wanted to be fully accurate they should have not made atlanteans first, we have very few historical knoweldge about them.
But since they are in game as we know them for years, they need to split greek mythology beetwin thoses 2 civilisations.

anyway regarding minor gods:
i intentionally kinda hoped we would get Plutus (wealth) and Persephone (spring, fertility). i hoped we would get a unit like Sirene for Persephone (which seems to really happen) and for Plutus Gryphon could have made sense in my opinion but i doubt we will get Plutus and Gryphon - cause of obvious reasons.
I think Persephone will 100.000% be a minor goddess (either heroic or mythic)
Pan in fact could be an option regarding the Nymph (will be called either Hamadryad or Oread) - its the only most obvious god left who are “connected” with these kind of nymphs.
I think the by far best option for this nymph unit would have been Artemis but this won’t happen unless they swtich her with another god who fits chimera better.
So i would say 50 - 90% likely the other minor god is Pan.
So the biggest question is: which minor god could fit Lycaon/Werwolf/Wolf/Beast? Here the most obvious choices are also already taken like Apollo, (Artemis, Ares).
I think the by far best option for this werewolf unit would have been Ares cause its an aggressive dog-like creature and would fit better than cyclops but this won’t happen either unless they switch him with another god who fits cyclops better (and here Dionysos and Hephaistos are already taken).
So who else could it be? I personally think it might be Nemesis (goddess of fury, vengance) which fits a werewolf type creature also really well.
So i would say a 1 - 100% chance it could be Nemesis or Eris.
So if we try to be more or less logical then it might be these gods and this will end up with the following line-up: X, Pan, Persephone. (all could be swtiched around)

Classical Age: Athena (healing GP just feels right)
Heroic Age: Dionysos 100% (both Athena and Apollo could fit too but Dionysos just feels so damn right would be crazy not to take him in my opinion - also since i assume food production with Demeter will be crazy good for greeks i think Hydra spam could get a thing with Demeter)
Mythic Age: I highly doubt it will be Hephaistos. So it will be either Artemis or Hera. Like @Skadidesu already pointed out Hera would make the most sense if we look at Freyr.
So this would make Athena, Dionysos and Hera but then again this are all the gods Zeus has in his roster. So I i thought about it again and since Hera seems the most logical and Dionysos the most fitting i open for either Hermes or Ares. What do you think?
When i think about Ares as a minor god for Demeter i have THE idea (maybe someone else had it too)
