I have been trying to know why my villager population count is -1 in the begin but I see even my town center and castle pops are changed to 1 and 5. I do not know why the scenario editor is acting weird.
If you see in the above videos In the first four videos The pop was 14 but I started with 0/1 pop in test of game. But after I deleted or altering number of units the pop got -14/1 and if I delete the TC it became -14/-5 but my triggers never altered pop thats ok.
But in the next 3 videos I clearly did not change any of my triggers with in the video, but at first the villagers were 4 and started with 0/21 because of castle and after deleting all it was -4/-4
But after I added 4 more vills this time it was still -5/-8 instead of -8/-4 but both the pop cap and pop head was changed I never changed my triggers within this gap and it is clearly evident within the video, I do not why scenario editor is acting so weird.
Is there anything anyone know about this, got any clue how to get ahead?
Is this at all possible to find in which way have the problem arose?
I am still waiting for any solution that makes things done here.
Are you, by any chance modifying any player resource?
Also, people in the UGC discord know a lot more. Matbe you’ll have more luck there

If it’s not a modding issue, have you tried to verify your game files? Maybe something went wrong and got corrupted?
If it is modding specific, then yeah, you may want to check into any triggers/xs that is used in it. Look it over carefully.
Sorry I forgot to add one more video, before the last two videos, if you see in that video it is the video where the castle pop shows 20 and TC pop shows 1 and without any change in the triggers I continue to test just by changing number of vills and now the castle Castle pop shows 15 and TC pop shows 1.
That’s what I m asking what is corrupted with scenario editor.
Could you please help me out @JeremyLevegood
The development team is currently busy with the holidays. I recommend being patient. After the first week there will be more activity.

Do you have any other mods installed? Perhaps that broke something? If you disable all mods, does the same thing happen? If so, it’s either the scenario itself or corruption somewhere.
So, please try the following in this order.
1: Verify the game files. (or reinstall the game.)
2: Disable all mods.
3: Restart the game. (if not already to make sure everything is reset.)
4: Test the scenario again.
If the same thing happens again, I recommend either waiting or open a support ticket on the age of empires website.
Also, please use the “edit” button and please do not bump topics. I understand your frustration.

I just reinstalled the whole game before I came across that situation.
all my mods were disabled.
Could you please ensure my gaming is secure? Or any background programs are running from the steam end or microsoft end?
And what is a support ticket? Could I get a video or proper procedure to submit this ticket?
Here is the link to the support ticket:
https://support.ageofempires.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Just follow the instructions that show up.
Try to be detailed as possible to explain the issue, screenshots/videos can be helpful. Especially saved games of the game/scenario, so they can see what is happening. They should get back to do via email or whatever form of contact you use.
But as Riflemann said, be patient. It is the holidays right now.
Could the tickets go forward after a month atleast?

After submitting the issue, the support team send this.
Alright… Okay so, question.
1: Does this happen only in this scenario or any/all scenarios?
-
If it’s just this specific scenario, please (if possible), can you send it to me? I could explain it better if it’s something specific. (I can take a look into it.)
-
If it’s any/all, then yes, you do have a issue somewhere. I can try to help you further but, no guarantee that I can solve the problem.

Okay, so you do have triggers/xs in the scenario. If I turn them off, the issue is resolved. (well, the effects anyway… But, trying to solve what you are trying to go for/accompish is a different matter…) You need to check the triggers tab. The most notable is the first trigger which is effecting techs. I checked further and there are some Nomad techs involved.
edit: A possible typo in the xs. You are using the first for loop incorrectly. The closing bracket is at the bottom.
But it worked for me the exact code for the rest of the maps, just in case of water nomad map its not working with the TC pop count and castle pop count. I think you still remember the problem is with the population cap count.
