Age of Empires is an inclusive game, so inclusive that if you don’t have fingers, that’s not a problem, you can play with England and France, which are the easiest civilizations in the game. France and England are mirror of eatch other, one focused on cavalry and the other on archers.
And that’s exactly what the last update focused on:
Now cavalry has a 30% increase in health compared to 20% for infantry.
And… Since anti-artillery weapons have been removed, it’s possible to destroy siege weapons with flaming arrows!
And particularly in my case, since I only play with Rus, the update wasn’t bad, I use cavalry and ranged units a lot.
But… for my rival and dear ally when we’re on the same team, I mean… the Germans! And also the Chinese, the two who like to use infantry and had excellent artillery, well… this update was terrible!
I’m looking at team multiplayer games, German players now start with infantry and end with cavalry, it’s just embarrassing to see this.
The change in the library and the change in siege weapons were simply terrible… it unbalanced the game, I don’t know why, who came up with these ideas, but… the game was very good as it was before, easy to understand the dynamics of the library, with several units that contained each other, but now players only make ranged units and cavalary.
