Pro scout fix is a godsend for delhi, a must get and EZZ MICRO.
Cheaper scholar is meta and Jumpstarts your cheap techs especially castle and beyond.
War Elephants splash makes them almost as dps/cost effective as knights in constant combat. War elephants are already better meatshields than knights with th only exception being overkill efficiencies which favors knights.
Siege change is hugeeee in favor of delhi. Late game elephants are very hard to kill and ppl use to use 42dmg HC and bombards to help cull the herd, well both HC an bombards received nerfs vs cav and cav got more hp via biology. Then add the facts springalds protection will shred melee infantry…means elephants+springalds +trash for body blocking will be a huge issue.
Watch Faye in last weekends drongo octagon, buddy steamrolled core’s infantry army that a shit-ton of spears (it’s a bit toxic…but i love it!).
Ghazi Raider + War Elephants with a sufficient springalds backline will answer any enemy composition.
War beats everything in melee combat cost for cost except spears.
Ghazi kills all range units cost for cost and offers great meatshield from crossbows.
Springalds shreds spears.
So in a war of attrition if Delhi eco can sustain this comp will delete all else.
?? Costly yet powerful units! The only units in game that can siege and attack enemy units at the same time¡! Tower and War complement eaxh other with spearman being the signular oddity that can answer both elephants questions(and that’s only true if spears can maintain the appropriate attack surface ).
