After starting the game by clicking start game in age of empires 2 DE before the game begin this error is occuring
Hi @Pradyumna were you playing a custom scenario? It looks like you have som ai files missing, Try checking integrity of game files in Steam or if you are on Xbox try to reinstall the game.
I have done both but the error did not disappear I was just playing the normal QS Black forest and the AI stopped working. I have uninstalled and installed from the very beginning and I also have validated all integrity of game files.
Try deleting this folder with the game closed C:\Users\YourUser\Games\Age of Empires 2 DE\ManyNumbers, but please make a backup of it first! Then reopen the game and check if you still have the issue. Paste back that folder where it was after it.
yea, when I removed that folder the error has disappeared, in which folder might be the error causing file?
I got three folders without error again pasted, but the problem is with mods. Should I uninstall all mod and reinstall?
