It is standard practice to identify cheaters and monitor them silently to understand methods and behaviors.
It is also standard practice to share none of the counterintelligence methods so hackers don’t develop counter measures.
There is a bigger picture here than the blatant cheaters.
That being said, it would really help community trust if they at least acknowledged cheating in a community post. People are not upset for no reason, it really hurts the competitive spirit of the game when cheaters are present.
More than the blatant cheaters, there’s been a huge increase of accusations in my matches of cheating. There’s a lot of valid evidence for cheaters being present, so it’s built a kind of zeitgeist around the idea that you’ll see it regularly. Don’t want to shame specific people, but a certain pro player accused an opponent on stream of map hacking, and it turned out they weren’t. It really hurts the whole community, even if it is a personal blunder.
Just make a community post acknowledging the issue as well as a promise to address it! It’s difficult to expect improvement with three months of silence!
What we need to see is penalties for the guys who are using map hacks, because rules without penalties are equal to nothing, penalties will make players think two times before using, and if the map hacks decrease soon will the fake accusations.
Spotted another very suspicious player.
This time 1v1.
I was wondering how he is winning even though he doesn’t micro well.
Magically ALL his waypoints of his Khan are place in a way, that the line of movement goes precisely through sheep.
Spots my units early and dodges fights and so on.

I’m on my way to Conq and would like my 31 ranked points back…
Suddenly after a 7 wins streak, a low/mid Platinum player beats me, very suspicious.
I might be wrong, though I’m quite certain he cheated.
