It seems like every other patch introduces some game-breaking bugs. We’ve had among others
- Units walking through walls and forests
- Mangonels dealing 300 damage to TCs
- Chat censor going completely crazy and even filtering taunts, AI names, …
- Malay age up broken
- Involuntary 100x tech mod/free tech bug
- now these new freezes
- your villagers randomly running to the enemy’s town to finish his farms (https://old.reddit.com/r/aoe2/comments/hvl1xt/fix_one_break_two_new_bugs_in_de/)
It seems like all of these should be very obvious from just playing a couple games. Why not at least have a public beta like with HD Edition (!), all of these would be found within hours
