nomadic civ, huns oh wait
You are crazy man, khmer bonus but with wood is ultra broken, any civi with this bonus Will be the Best civi in the game, more reasonable is the stone minning for example, the gold is huge OP too, and you say that with less gathering but if better collect wood the tradicional form not have sense khmer system bonus in wood
This logic makes no sense. Where is the lumberjack connected then?
All buildings are connected by the underground.
Did you misunderstand what he said?
who is carrying stuff? i can extend your explanation to any automatic gathering
I don’t think so but you can try to explain better. Maybe i indeed misunderstood him.
I try to explain why I wrote that:
Basically rationalisation of the dropping point is useless as it doesn’t work as irl. Yes you drop the wood in the lumberjack but then, that wood is added instantly to your stock pile and you can use it on the other side of the map which only makes the need for another explanation. Then we have to rationalise further that this. There is someone that is carrying them around, instantly. Impossible but that is the case. Then why the need for the drop off point?
Gaia, obviously.
Ok first I thought you were talking about lumberjack (the villager when he is cutting wood), but you are actually talking about lumberCAMP.
It is rational and complex enough for a game. All strategy games work like this, where collectors gather resource and then deliver them to a drop-off point. Only game where I know collectors don’t need drop-off points are Planetary Annihilation solar panel satellites. Which you could argue, that the energy is transferred onward right away, cause it’s energy there’s barely any delay for it anyway.
Now, there doesn’t exist an objective limit for what is enough rationalizing in a game so or you go through all of the explanation or it is subjective so pointless to discuss.
It is not a justification that all strategy games are like this and this is hard to believe given that aoe3 works without any dropping point.
except this isn’t aoe3, this is a superior game to aoe3.
Oh yes.
I already forgot about…aoe…3…
…
Edit: and nonetheless, subjective popular opinion on the matter is enough
