Since the Age of mythology retold supports controller and keyboard/mouse compatibility,Age of Empire 3 Definitive Edition should also support controller and keyboard/mouse functionality similar to the age of mythology retold

Yes, I think AoE 3 DE will be coming to Xbox and PS5 next year (for the 20th anniversary of the original game)…

Yes, I know, but I mean they will release it later… back in the day AoE 2 was on PS2 and NDS… that’s why I think the other games will end up coming to PS5 and Switch 2…
It wouldn’t be the first time that an exclusive game is ported to other platforms. There are many examples…
Yes, Sony releases its exclusives on Windows and Switch too… And Microsoft no longer cares so much about exclusives, but rather about Gamepass… that’s why exclusives will tend to disappear in the coming years…

Yes, they could at least make a console version of AoE 3 DE for the 20th anniversary (PS5, Xbox Series and Switch 2) (strange that they didn’t already make it for Xbox Series in 2020 when it came out, but now it could be done and it wouldn’t cost that much since it could use the same controls as AoM Retold)…
But then more people might play the game… I don’t know if they want that…

AoE III is not an AoE game as the devs think, so definitely no!

Yes, that’s why… there’s a potential audience… the AoE 2 YouTubers say “come on, nobody’s going to buy AoE 3 on consoles if they didn’t buy it on PC, so it’s fine that they don’t port AoE 3 to consoles” and it pisses me off that they’re so egocentric…
And that’s what infuriates me, you’re going to have the entire saga (the main one, I clarify) on consoles, except AoE 3 for X or Y… I have an acquaintance, who is a fan of the classic AoE 1 who plays on PS5, who had to buy the saga on PC because I couldn’t assure him that both AoE 1 and AoE 3 would come to consoles…

AoE3DE is finished now, that era is over. It’s not going to happen. There are no plans to add AOE3DE to the console. It’s more complicated than AoE2, AoM and AoE4 because of the controls and many buttons. It is too much work for them, they want to be lazy and chill. I was right, AOE3DE will never get a console port.

It’s not that difficult either, it’s just giving it the same controls as Retold plus a button that sends you to Home City and away…
And this is what angers me the most… I have an acquaintance who plays on PS5 who had to buy the AoE saga on PC because I couldn’t assure him that AoE 1 DE and AoE 3 DE were going to come to consoles (the worst thing of all is that 1 DE is on consoles like Return of Rome, within 2 DE)… so 3 DE is left out of everything… at the end they could include the free to play version of 3DE for the 5th anniversary (giving away the DLC like they did with 2 DE for those who bought the game) and then see if people buy the full version, but not leave console users (Xbox Series, PS5 and Switch 2) without having the entire AoE saga…
