just saw new patch news and this is the most important thing to fix/change for me. its mostly gone in retold which uses an upgraded version of the aoe3 de engine.
if getting the fix back ported causes the patch to be delayed I’m fine with that. better than going another 6 month or more with current performance degrading and stability issues. retold QOL, lobby browser and attack move improvements are a plus.

Probably not. My friend has asked about this severel times and they have always just closed the thread saying its neen resolved… obviously thats not the case.

AoE III DE being poorly optimized has been in the know for a while right now!
This is one of the most important fixes they can introduce to be honest. Hope they add it on this update

Yeah honestly AOE3 optimization is just trash, compared to AOMR. They already have the game engine, can’t some of the improvements be implemented in AOE3 as well?
If there is any engine update it will most likely be with the next DLC.
