Hoping for the Devs to DRASTICALLY (!) lower the towncenter’s attackspeed, down to at least 3seconds.
The game is almost purely about booming and teching, early aggression barely has any place in the current meta with MG42 towncenters.
The best you can do is pressure ressources a bit, kill a villager here or there but you can’t all in like in aoe3de.
Which I fiind very frustrating and boring.
All the civs that don’t have access to either MAA/Knights age2 can barely ever do a good early push and death-threaten the enemy who is being greedy.
Please fix asap Relic.

No, I love my english TC, also HRE TC when you almost destroy it sacrificing your whole army then I click emergency repairs.
English TC could use a nerf, but that has more to do with them being able to build many farms under the protection of their Capital TC. Everyone else suffers from an inability to access resources while being pressured. Also, you can already kill a greedy player by using battering rams and archers. One ram does far more damage to buildings than one knight, costs 40 less resources, and takes far less ranged damage… it also has the side benefit of being available to all civs in feudal (unlike knight and MAA as you point out).
Plus, you don’t need to kill an opponent to disable them and force them into an unwinnable scenario. Take away their access to map resources, force them to eat all of their sheep and make farms, keep them off of gold. That’s it, they can’t win. Finishing them off with a landmark victory is more about eliminating the stubborn player who refuses to surrender when their loss is inevitable.
I don’t know if nerfing the defensive emplacements that protect a player during early feudal would be healthy for the meta anyhow. It would give a huge buff to French and Rus, or any civ with feudal MAA. The game is already in a poor state when it comes to anti armor options… the current counter to feudal MAA is archers, and that’s if you have a mass of 20 or more.
