Will the Ottoman become the counter to the Jin Dynasty?

Most of the Jin Dynasty’s units are cavalry. Even the villagers are. And the Ottomans have Janissaries who can take down cavalry from a distance. Of course, they also have archers who can take down mounted archers. Could the Ottomans be a hard counter to the Jin Dynasty?

Mongols are the hard counter for Jin Dynasty :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Any Anticavalry Civ become automatically the counter of Jin Dinasty. Right now there are 5 anti-cavalry civs:

  • 1.- Ottoman: With the Jannisaries
  • 2.- Abbasid: With Camels and Camels Archers (Anti-Ranged Cavalry)
  • 3.- Ayyubid: With Dessert Raiders
  • 4.- Delhi Sultanate: With War Elephants and Tower Elephants (Anti-Ranged Cavalry)
  • 5.- Tughlaq Dynasty: With War Elephants and Raider Elephant (Anti-Ranged Cavalry)

Oh I forgot the Camels somehow. True, they can counter Jin Dynasty too.

Yes, that’s true…

Yes, throughout the entire Age of Empires saga, any camel can beat the cavalry…
