because devs like to leave us without notice, for surprising us…
its like when people wait an special moment to give a present to a special person, but that person dies or doesnt want you anymore, its too late.
Its better to said, what will come next! and do it now!

Two months is the official amount of time a game needs to go without patches before Gaming doctors declare them dead. Sorry. The amount of patches before that doesn’t count.
The game is dead. It’s a perfectly reasonable conclusion to make when there’s no patches in two months.

Dude, calm down. AOE3DE has gone more than 2 months between patches before. The game is not dead, the next patch is just taking a while due to AOM.

This would be the most sensible comment here!
I’m really curious why people think 3DE would receive monthly updates when the two more popular games in the series do not.
I don’t care how long it takes to bring big updates (new civs, maps, units…), I’m quite grateful that they keep releasing.
But I would appreciate it if there were more frequent balance changes.

I can give all those “dead game” folks a true definition of a dead game:
AoE1DE mods are inaccessible from the website, I’m sure this was done to get the playerbase moved to AoE2DE’s RoR (which I’m not a fan of the idea since not everyone wants to buy AoE2DE and AoE1 for the 3rd time).

Guess these devs are so sadistic theyd continue to upload mass amounts of changes into steam just to torment us, since its “clearly” dead game why else would paid workers spend time engaging and working on the game? Couldnt possibly be content soon since all the forum prophets declared the game dead again right?
